OR Tambo International Airport has entered the last phase of refurbishments to its Terminal A international departures hall, causing changes in travel plans.

The airport in February urged international passengers to arrive early for check in, allowing a minimum of three hours.

This because the security and emigration handling processes for International check-in passengers at the airport’s Terminal A has been relocated to the Central Terminal Building (CTB) situated opposite the KFC outlet and escalators leading to or coming from the Gautrain station.

Although the airport has employed official Customer Care agents , donning orange t-shirts inscribed with the words “How Can I help you”, OR Tambo also recently issued a map to assist passengers with the route to be followed.
