Qantas has increased the carry-on weight limit in first class, business class and premium economy on international flights.
Passengers are now able to bring a cabin bag weighing up to 10kg, compared with the previous 7kg cap.
The move brings Qantas’s international baggage policy in line with that of its domestic flights, which may aid passengers travelling in the above classes connecting between domestic and international flights.
Qantas’s international premium passengers can choose between the following mix of carry-on bags
- one 10kg bag (measuring up to 115cm), or
- two bags (measuring up to 105cm each) with a combined weight of 14kg, and either of those bags can weigh 10kg, or
- one 10kg (measuring up to 105cm) plus a soft garment bag (measuring up to 185cm)
The 7kg limit remains in place for economy-class flyers.
