EGYPTAIR fleet which includes 70 of the latest generation long, medium and short haul aircraft announced today that it would introduce the Airbus 330-300 on the Johannesburg to Cairo route, starting 11 May 2016. The newer Airbus reduces operational costs and drives continued growth for EGYPTAIR.
The introduction of the aircraft onto the Johannesburg service is in line with EGYPTAIR’S commitment to the South African market for continued growth, and maintaining its dedication to increased competitiveness and the highest standards of service and convenience to its customers.
The aircraft will offer travellers in all cabins individual in-flight entertainment systems, 265 seats in economy class which offer a comfortable seat width of 18 inches with a headrest allowing movement in four different directions and a footrest to offer passengers ultimate comfort. This cabin also offers seats which recline by 6 inches and power outlets to charge personal devices.
Business class has 36 seats with a magnificent seat pitch of 60 inches; the width of the seat is 20 inches with armrest and headrest The Business lie flat bed is 25 inches with a length of 73 inches while providing privacy through the separating board. All of this while enjoying a lumbar massage from the chair.
The aircraft incorporates technology that provides an unprecedented level of comfort through innovations that optimize cabin humidity and air pressure within the cabin.
